Remarks: SELLING AS A PAIR ONLY! Up for sale is an incredible find! You are looking at a pair of two Explorers from 1953, both watches are 1 serial digit apart in production. After 68 years, separated in two different parts of the world these two found their way back together in our store. One watch originally was from Europe, purchased by someone who lived in Hawaii about 20 years ago. This watch was sold to us a few years ago and remained in our collection. The other watch is believed to be a long time Hawaii watch, the tropical dial shows it to have aged nicely in the Hawaiian sun. The tropical dial is believed to be a replacement dial from the 60s during factory service, this is a correct dial, often seen in reference 6610, however this properly fits a A260 movement so it was produced by Rolex for this watch.
